As a lifelong Bears fan, I have absolutely no love for Brett Favre.
That said, I think a lot of the reason for all the Favre retiring and unretiring is the fact that Favre recognized that he was done a few years ago and then inexplicably he just keeps getting begged to take a starting QB spot from various teams. That's hard to turn down. If someone showed up at my door every August and said they'd give me a couple million to show up and practice when I want and then have a guaranteed starting job I wouldn't turn it down. So while I couldn't be more in agreement that Favre is beyond through, I can't blame him for suiting up and going out their every week. A player's job is to play; a coach's job is to put the best of his roster on the field and the GM's job is to give that coach the best roster he can.

Hell YES....come out and take one snap if need be....STOP banging on the guy JACK. He is one of the greatest QB's to play the game. How in the hell would any 1 of you know what 1 days rest can do for a person when you have never played professionally....Dont give me this shit that one day won't matter. If this was baseball and a pitcher got an extras days rest you would have another point of view. Dont bang on a guy who is playing very well in his 40's and you gave the game up at 18....if you ever played at all.
The streak is over...just got inside news...it will take 2-3 wks for the injury to heal. now is does come down to a one snap deal to keep the streak alive. My insiders are very good....so we are putting them to the test but as they say....the streak will end....:facepalm:
From what I am hearing is that he won't be playing. Vikes don't want to let the Giants know that Jackson is playing but saying that, I will believe it when I see it.
