Is it okay for Favre to come out and take 1 snap to get 300?

The streak is over...just got inside news...it will take 2-3 wks for the injury to heal. now is does come down to a one snap deal to keep the streak alive. My insiders are very good....so we are putting them to the test but as they say....the streak will end....

Yeah, I heard the same exact thing on ESPN yesterday morning.

Your insiders? Better shake those guys up, Skeet. The rest of the world was getting tired of reading the "crawl" on ESPN for 11 hours before you posted that.

Oh, and Brett has had several injuries that would take "weeks" to heal, and he still trotted out onto the field at game time to hear the adoring fans cheer, just before he threw the game away.

Those were in the time when his teams were playing for something, too. So, I would not be the least bit surprised to see him jog out for the start of tonight's game.

lou gehrig actually went to bat at the beginning of a game a couple of times then was pulled, just to keep the streak alive.

but i think i'd rather remember favre as starting and playing for keeps 297 times than 300 with the last couple just to make an appearance.

if he was your qb on a winning super bowl team , won 3 mvps had only 1 losing season as a packer and helped resurect a team that that was a disgrace for decades I think you might have a different opinion.

Yes YYZ I have insiders

They are called friends who are playing, coaching and PT's who travel w/the teams. I don't just get my info from ESPN & ESPN radio. But I do love listening to my favorite on ESPN radio Jason Smith.....how about a Fresca LOL:mj07: His boss is HOT HOT HOT...just lost her name as I put in a 12 hr day but damn is she HOT. Some 1 refresh my memory

Honest to god guys... even as I sat their before the last pre-game commercials looking at Favre in full "street clothes", I still half expected to see him casually on the field after commercials. I wonder if I'd have even noticed? ;)
