And on what grounds would you be asking MJ to ban me?

No offense, but I do not think I have ever read one of your posts. Not sure why you would think that I would want you banned.

I feel Spy deserves the same treatment as Skul & co, if not worse. He spams the board with anti-american propaganda disguised as pro-democrat rhetoric, and is clearly a hateful jihadist.

The million dollar question is not : is john mccain a racist ? a racist is a person with bias.... we all have biases. .....how do we function with our biases.... yes we can understand why he would hate his captures but most rational people can distinguish indiviuals from a race of people... It's insane to condemn any group of people for the actions of people of that same race, even @ WAR........ by his own accounts, he went to hell and back...who wouldn't ???? the question is : do we really want someone with his issues as COMMANDER & CHIEF ? I think he's not fit .... vietnam never ended for mccain .....He doesn't have the temperment for the 21 first century...

I'm pretty sure what keeps him on is that he generally spreads them out over time rather than covering the forum with a layer 10 threads deep.

Ironically he threw a few in a row right after Skul and Keeko were gone. He was probably pushing it at that point.

It's not so much WHAT you say but the manner and frequency that you do it.

....Or so I would assume.

i don't care what people think and believe but there's no need to dominate the forum with excessive thread counts.

I don't want to make this a thread about anything, I didn't start this thread... I also did not say or do not think that John Mccain is a racist. I feel sorry for the guy, I think he's is a victim................................. Mccain was a POW for 5yrs, he was tourtured, he has the right to feel the way he does but he doesn't have the right to be president. The difference between MC & OB is : Obama was at the scene of the accident, John Mccain is the accident.....I can't understand as a free thinking individual how some can't grasp the concept of being around people that you don't agree with on all fronts and you walk away with your core believes in tact. ......... free will..... I do it all the time. I have read your thoughts for sometime here at Jacks , I have learned a few things about myself and how I view others but you haven't changed my core believes..... I'm sure Obama can say the same about the rev wright..... I have had a similar experience with a mentor/friend in my life..... Hell, my most intimate relationship is with a woman that I don't see eye to eye on many fronts.... I think this rev wright/Obama thing is brain food for fish ! The fact that Obama has exposed himself to all kinds with diverse thoughts is a good thing, it will be an asset in the White House........ I personally love doing that myself..... That is why I come here....... BOTTOM LINE IT FOR YOU : The Obama team should play hard ball..... The state of the tortured mind of John Mccain should be examined....:0corn :0corn :0corn :0corn :0corn :scared

Mr B While I might not refer to it a racist--I believe everyone has a few prejudice bones in their body.

I am certain Mac holds some of these vs his captors-but believe many came out of VN as well as gulf with few prejudices on premise most fought along side fellow countrymen. You had friend and foe of same ethnic persuasion.

Personally I have no animosity towards vietnemese whatsoever--however kindle a predudice against muslims in many respects--and unjustly I might add.
I have been bombared with their atrosities in every country they exist --but have had no personal positive reinforcements to offset them--such as with vietnamese.

I may be wrong but Muslims are not a race thay are a religion... I am not one and I don't think I know any but I may....I don't ask everyone I know what their faith is.... There are Muslims that share common american values all over the world.... Right here in this country we have Muslims serving America in many ways.... There are Muslims in our military protecting America in Iraq ..... We have about 260 million Muslims right here, right now, living side by side with us in America... Iraq has about 20 million.....Iran has about 70 million. I think it would be easy to find positive Muslim reinforcement... just look at our military... John Mccain of all people should know about the vietnamese that fought with America, not against us...ther is no logic for his believes, that is why I question is mental stability.

Good point on Muslim being religion--

believe Muslim population is estimated between 5 and 8 million if I'm not mistaken.

It is hard to put finger on real # as they come from from 3 areas--immigrants-converts and mixture of the 2

Not that hard to track immigrants but converts diff story.

Here is table-but from 1990

U.S. Muslim Population Table

Africans 260 5.2 Africans: People from the African continent who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States

Iranians 180 3.6 Iranians: People of Persian descent, usually from Iran, who are citizens or permanent residents.

You can better believe John McCain has "racist" or at least bitter feelings to the Communist Vietnamese.

This poster (spytheweb) must be very out of touch. I don't know any veteran who spent significant time in action, much less as a POW, who doesn't have some coping problems with the Japanese from WWII in the South Pacific or Communist Vietnamese from that aweful war.

Obviously the moron who posted this is completely out of touch with the needs of today's veterans. John McCain understands these needs and will be able to deliver to our veterans the assistance they need when they come home.

Also, if the extreme wacked out "moved on" democrats want to label a veteran as racist because they call someone a "gook" or a "jap" they are insulting pretty much every veteran who saw action in these arenas.

That's somewhat of a hypocritical position to take for someone who holds Obama accountable for the comments of his pastor. We all know McCain went to hell and back during his POW years and we all know that a soldier has to dehuminize and demonize the enemy. But regardless of someone's history, if they choose to enter the public arena, they better leave their prejudices behind or keep them to themselves.

Not sure if McCain necessarily chose to become a racist or to hold a grudge against the Vietnamese. Although he did choose to stay captive in support of his men. He, like other vets, were put in that place and handicapped in a fight they could not win. They probably have all sorts of feelings that we don't necessarily need the "moved on" wackos to try to shame them with.

I am fairly sure, however, that Barry Obama CHOSE to sit in the pews of Rev. Wright and his spewed, divisive, hateful rhetoric for 20 years.
