is the movie "2 for the money" any good?

I found the movie to be very corny, the plot very weak. Nothing like the previews, and Al Pacino must have been pretty bored to take this role. Not nearly as powerful the role you think it is made out to be from the previews. I was rather disapointed by it. If you want to rent a good gambling movie, try the runner. Most of us degenerates have been through many of his situatoins (main character) found myself laughing out loud at a lot of the stuff he did that I also did when I was much younger. Has Courtney Cox and John Goodman.

it has its moments
i liked it early and through the winning part
the story seems to die somewhere though mid way through
still a decent movie just to rent, but def. not worth buying

It was an eye opener for my girlfriend. She sees me placing bets and 'capping, but doesn't really "get it".
Mathew is easy on the eyes for the ladies. Now when she wants a little, she coos "come over here Brandon" (after his character in the movie).
Factually, it's on the periphery, but I would imagine we here at Madjacks are a little closer to the truth than most.
Is it worth the rental price. Yes! Worth buying, NO!
