. You're a devisive little prick with no conscience or moral fiber. There, do you understand me better?

?

lmao....sounds like someone is still in 3rd grade

where do you think the base of the democratic party is? just look at the candidates and who they are pandering to!!!! It is like a race to see which one of them can institute more "programs" to the welfare state!!!!

And you think it is "pinheaded" to observe this?

Hmmm...lets keep these people dependent on us so we can continue to stay in power!!!! Great idea!!!

That attitude is WITHOUT moral conscience because it disregards the welfare of people....people do not function well when they depend on someone for everything....that path leads to all kinds of problems....their is no disputing that....but nonetheless, you liberals continue to promote the lifestyle of the bottomfeeder....and after 60 years of these programs, a complete welfare state has been created -- enough so that it can drive a whole party!!!!

Dr Freeze this is a thread about whether the war is over or not and the merits of the war. Now, rather than defend your argument for the war, you have tried to back those of us who are against the war, into a corner by trying to make us defend the Democratic Party.
I see you have learned from Ann Coulter pretty good. Congratulations, you are a good student. But this is not a war about the democrats or republicans. This is a war that has killed kids from families of both parties. And those kids are still getting killed. And I hope they are not dying so I can get 10 cents off a gallon of gas. Or Chaney can fulfill a promise to Halliburton or Rumsfeld can please his buddies in The Carlyle Group.
If you are for this war it doesn't make you any more of an American than someone who is against it.
Now, here is a fun game to play with the Republican pin-up girl. Everytime she uses the word democrat, change it to republican or for even more fun just use her name!
The great thing about these forums is that we all came here out of a love of Handicapping and we can exchange ideas on a lot of different subjects. Thanks for the kind words guys.

no cuz all these are stupid arguments used and right now dems attack anything and everything solely for the purpose of gaining power....and that is NOT right...and they will go to lengths to sabotage the country to do so....

this includes the war on Iraq...this intelligence sht has nothing to do with anything yet is a huge issue made out of a non issue by the media and dems for some reason....i don't get it......

i agree we need to get boys in Iraq out of there but there ARE freedom issues and also security issues along with economic issues....

just because there are economic issues we have at stake in Iraq doesn't mean that we shouldn't be there....that is the idea we get from the left!!!! I tried to point out that this makes it MORE reasonable that we start in Iraq....BECUASE our oil industry is directly affected -- and for myself in Houston this whole city is greatly affected -- and our economy as a whole in this country is affected -- than this implications of this action will be enhanced!!! Don't see why Hallibuton is portrayed as the bad guy!!! They and other oil companies do our country a service as does ANY industry that is productive in our country!!! And who cares if Cheney had associations with them....name me a president who doesn't have any associations with any industry or a politician who has no associations with any company

and this stuff on the end-game....well, there never has been an end game in any war....it plays itself as it may.....Repubs criticized Clinton for endgame in Kosovo -- or lack thereof.....i disagreed with that as a reason not to go over there....reason to go over there and fight doesn't have mcuh to do with endgame ever....

reason has to do with what we were putting up with and the defiance we were getting from Hussein...that and that alone was sufficient to clean his ass up....in addition to the fact that Bush didn't finish the job due to UN pressure before hand....

This had to be done...it has gone remarkably well as there were many who thought thousands and possibly tens-of thousands of lives would be cost -- and who knows? this could still happen....

and everyone knew the after-war would not be easy.....it isn't easy in Afghanistan and it certainly would not be anywhere where this ideology of Americanism is hated...and everything that America stands for is hated....

That can happen Doc. We can get hated. We stick our nose where it don't always belong. Or asked too. We want to be the worlds police. Some times that bites you in the ass.
Doc the way it's gong in Iraq. I just don't think a good end game or plan was in place. I believe were learning. And when you listen to Bush and Rummy it sounds that way. But it is costly to our troops.
