I've read a couple of Pre-Season publications which are about the same as the Pre-Season Coaches Poll. I know a lot can & will change over the course of the 2019 College Football Season but here are some of the Teams Auburn has to face this Season:

#2-Alabama
#3-Georgia
#6-Louisiana State University
#8-Florida
#11-Texas A&M
#13-Oregon

Hell, half of our Schedule is against Teams ranked higher than we are(#15). Note that three(3) of these games will be played on the Road(LSU, Florida & Texas A&M) & one will be played @ a Neutral Site(Oregon). Our 2(Two) Home Games are against the #2 & #3 Teams(UGA & Bamer).

My heart predicts a 10-2 record against this gauntlet. :mj09:
My brain predicts we will do good to go 8-4 :mj08:

Doubt anyone will come up w/a Schedule tougher than my Auburn Tigers. :popcorn2

Seems our team plays top 5 schedule every freaking year, I think the overall record depends on how well the young QB's perform who ever the starter is? We will find out a lot in week one vs Oregon......the defense should keep them in most games. WDE

Isn't Georgia you guys permanent East division opponent; if so, that's rough in itself but then you get probably the 2nd best team in the East, Florida, so besides the brutal West division schedule you get the top 2 teams from the East, plus Oregon. Good Luck.

The Dawgs are our permanent opponent from the Eastern Division cruncher. As a matter of fact Auburn vs. Georgia is The "Deep South's" Oldest Rivalry. We have played UGA every year since 1892 except for the World War I & II years. This year's contest will be the 132nd meeting. That first game was played @ Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA on 2/20/1892 which Auburn won 10-0. Our "War Eagle" cheer began that day as well, according to legend. Here's what happened that day:

During the Civil War a Confederate Soldier was wounded & lying in "No Man's Land" between the Confederate/Yankee lines. As he looked around he found a baby eagle which he put in his uniform. The Soldier luckily found his way back to safety & the Confederate line with the baby eagle in tow. Years later that Soldier became an Auburn Professor & still had the eagle he found which was obviously full grown by then. He carried that bird with him everywhere he went including that first Auburn/Georgia Game in Atlanta. When the Game began the eagle broke loose from that Old Soldier & soared high above the field for the entire Game. When the Auburn fans looked up they saw the bird & said "That's the War Eagle"!!! Sadly, when the Game was over the Eagle fell from the sky & died having given his all to secure an Auburn victory. Since that day we Auburn Fans have cheered "War Eagle" in honor of that first Eagle found by that Old Soldier/Professor during the Civil War.

Auburn named true freshman Bo Nix as the starter..... Kid broke the Alabama HS record with 12,000 yards. This kid was born for this moment and I wish him the best :0008

As far as betting on Auburn verses Oregon..............I will watch and :00x11

Thanks Sonny!!! I think there is little doubt Auburn has by far the toughest tests this Season. My one observation scanning this list:

How in hell did Clemson come in @ #23!??!

Their schedule is easier than a $2.00 whore.

I knew Iowa had a fairly tough schedule this season.
Those of you that like playing team wins might look at the under 7.5 wins. Seeing +135 on this wager at 5dimes

Not a fan of downplaying Bama's schedule every year when teams like Clemson, OU, and everyone in the P12 have schedules that are full of unranked and outmatched teams too (although Cuse, Pitt, ISU, and Army play on deer antler steroids from time to time)... but be honest - September isn't even going to be entertaining as a Bama fan. And you only get 3 games that have potential to be exciting altogether.

One of those "good problems to have" but none the less, most of my Bama friends back home are pretty meh about the schedule this year.
