Lienart has not thrown an INT in 150 passes or last 4-5 games. SOmething like that. He does not seem to make too many mistakes.

CHOW's O vs STOOPS D would be great to see.

USC vs OU would be a great matchup and those are the 2 best teams in the nation.

yes they did back out. I dont remember why...but it was a valid reason. I can find out for ya...but it wont be till tonight maybe...

BG, Marshall and Troy St(last year) backed out on LSU due to invitations by ESPN to play weeknight games. I can easily understand why the ADs of these "mid-major" programs would want to back out of a deal to play in Death Valley in order to boost public awareness of their teams, but that does not mean that I agree with breaking a contract.

I honestly do not see LSU running the table @Bama, @Ole Miss, vs Ark and winning the SEC Championship Game. Not that the talent and coaching isn't there, but this is the SEC where everybody has athletes and anything can happen. It would be horribly wrong if they win out and do not "earn" the right to play in the Sugar Bowl in front of a HOME crowd because of a scheduling matter which was out of their hands from the beginning.

I agree it is bad when teams try and back out of their contract.

I would like to know why LSU "scheduled" BG, Marshall and Troy St in the first place.

None of those teams are considered good/great teams. I would be very disapointed if USC tried to schedule those teams. Marshall you might consider an average team. Remember, schedules are made in "years" in advance.

I hope LSU tries to take the challenge and play USC in the BCA classic next year. USC is looking for a powerhouse.

USC plays another SEC team next year, ARKANSAS along with Nebraska and ND i think. Alot different OOC schedule than TROY ST. BG and MARSHALL. Next year USC is trying to make their NC run, but USC does not take the easy route. Thats why USC wanted Miami in the BCA game (they declined).

BYU is traditionally a strong program with a lot of history. This year they have had tough injuries and not doing well at all. Hawaii is traditionally a weak program but June Jones has turned that program around and have been very competitive last few years. (bowl team last year). BYU and Hawaii are not div. 2 schools. :D

I heard rumors that LSU and USC might be a likely matchup next year. But its just rumors. BCA will be @ USC and following year @LSU. If Miami continues to say "NO", then USC will give LSU the shot even though they are not as strong as Miami. USC prides itself in wanting to always play the best.

You say you would like to see USC play these teams type of schedules. Guess what bbk. USC WANTS TO PLAY THESE TEAMS!

Last year USC's OOC

AU

@CO

@KSU (in case you did not know, teams do not want to ever play @ KSU and USC did a home and home. Most powerhouses want a 2 for 1 (2 home games to 1 road) with KSU and KSU won't do that. KSU is sneaky because they scheduled USC in their down years, and was hoping to play a big name school who's team is not that great. KSU will not schedule USC now.)

ND

This years OOC

@AU :eek:
BYU
HAWAII
@ND

USC always will play a tough schedule. Bank on it!

FIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!!
