Hey guys....

My Mom just got back from a trip. When she got back, she called me and said there was a message on her answering machine left for me. It was a guy saying that he was a courier that would be stopping by my address that evening between 5-7pm. He has a legal document that I needed to sign and have a witness present for. He also provided a "case number." When I googled the 877 number that he provided, I saw where other people have been given the same schtick over the past 2 weeks or so. Basically, this "company" is threatening some kind of legal action. WTF?!

When the Nigerian shows up at your door

answer with a .45 in your hand

Tell him that you have your witness right there
with you.

no more discussion will need to be had

PS - alot of times these scammers are not after you, they will try to convince your mom to pay them to keep you out of trouble.

Believe me , she will be getting other calls about you and these phony charges.

What other proof do you need?

just heard on the news about some scam they have out there now where elderly ppl recieve phone calls and a person will pretend to be a grandchild and claim they are in a canadian jail. they explain why they are in jail and then apparently beg the grandparents not too tell the rest of the family about it and explain they need $6,000 too bail them outta jail. They then put one of the other scamartists on the phone, who then pretends too be a canadian authority figure. They explain to the grandparents how too send the money and even go as far as to explain how to go about contacting a canadian lawyer if they choose too fight it. Apparently it is pretty thought out and thourough because they claim that hundreds have already fell victim too it here in the US. Forget what news channel I saw it on, but figured I would share just incase one of you MJers are contacted next :0074

Fixed your post.

Guy came to my mom's house and I was there waiting. I looked at the guy who was standing on the front porch and I said with a 9 iron in my hand - what do you want, punk? The guy urinated on himself and left the house. I followed him to an apartment (his place, I guess) and knocked on the door. When he opened it, my nine iron started raining blows down upon this man's head. For some reason he had a parrot, so I fucked it and took pictures with a camera I found by the guy's television, wings were flapping and everything. The parrot eventually died and I threw the camera on the dude's chest and walked out.
