You think the driving is bad, you should see the grocery stores!!!
Once news of a impending snowstorm (ie, 1-2 inches minimum) hits tv, flocks of people flood the grocery stores. They buy out every battery, flashlight, bottled water, generators, bread, eggs, everything to last if the world were to combust that day. It's freaking hilarious. You can literally look down the bread and other isles and see absolutely bare shelves.
Me? I'm in the express line with a case of beer hoisted on each shoulder

What else is there to do when school is cancelled and you are snowed in!
BTW, I am one of the the northerners transplanted here who can drive in the snow. It's unbelievable what these people do. "Ice-quick, slam on your breaks!"
