Well that's just frigging perfect. First of all don't use the excuse that "I've been so busy". If you want an honest answer then you have to do something that will take up some of your time. Time that you normally spend on yourself or your work. Something that she will enjoy and that you will join her in. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, time she will enjoy would seem to mean time away from your grouchy ass, but she did marry you so maybe she still likes spending time with you. Sounds crazy to me but whatever. Anyway, I would plan something both clever and extravagant. Maybe do an "Amazing Race" theme or treasure hunt type thing where you send her around town and she meets up with friends for lunch, meets another person that is a personal shopper or something that has a bankroll for her to go shopping for a nice evening outfit with all the bells and whistles, limo to take her to the shops, etc... Call ahead to the shops and have a glass of champagne waiting for her at them or some nice chocolates. After shopping send her to a day spa so she can be pampered and have a bit more champagne. After that the limo takes her to a nice hotel where her clothes are laid out on the bed along with the Victorias Secret stuff she got while shopping. Have flowers, orchids are the best for this, and more champagne waiting. Have a nice note waiting that instructs her to go to the salon and get her hair done and then return to the hotel and get dressed in her new stuff and that the limo will pick her up at 7p sharp. Limo takes her to meet you at a NICE restaurant where you are dressed in a great suit. Have fun with your lovely wife.

Hope that helps,
FDC

Card, flowers, dinner, plant a few trees, clean the house completely when she is at work, breakfast in bed, and a few gift cards to her favorite places. Hard to make uP for that sort of blunder, boss!

Am I the only one waiting to hear how you " tried to fix things"?

I didn't fix or try to fix it yet.

I apologized, is all I can do. Fortunately she isn't very big on birthdays but it still had to hurt inside, even though she doesn't act like it bothers her.

Our anniversary is Thursday so I plan on a special day/evening and try to add the birthday wishes in there as well.
