I was playing in a 4 man scramble and they had a tank with apples setup on a par 5.
If you pulled an apple out, you got to tee off from the red tee. They video taped everyone and played it back over dinner.
All was good until you handed the apple over and they just tossed it back in the tub. We had 12 groups who played ahead of us.

Yup remember it well still use it myself. Think it was on or right after his 1989 HBO special. Watched it at my New Years Eve Party
They made us in elementary school, every fall they would have an apple fest and you had to take a turn, that school is now the town hall but I think in today's world there would be parents in an uproar. Nobody even thought about it back then but I wonder how many different bugs were transferred from kid to kid. People were dumb back then or just tougher
No never but I would consider it as long as the water is filtered and the apples are organic.
