After a so-so card last Sunday, there are a few games that stand out this week. Here's what Ive penciled down so far. Its Thursday morning and these lines will move off some key numbers like 3 and 4. Thats why Im posting them now, and I fully expect to be in the positive come Sunday night. 3-2 most likely but a nice 4-1 day would be perfectly acceptable.
Baltimore +4............. I'll gladly take the points in this one. According to my numbers the wrong team is favored as I have Balt -2. Laugh it up Peyton. Points and the #1 ranked Defense, SOLD.
Cincinnati +6.............. These are two play against teams and neither impress. Cincy has lost every game this year and on the road by 7 to Tenn, 3 to NYG, and 9 to Dallas. NYJ are worse than all those teams. Take the points.
Chicago -3.............. The Bears were 3' pt chalk last week AT Det, and could be flat on b2b roadies off a div. game. Still, Chicago hasnt given up 120 YR this year... and Falcons "D" is bad.
Denver -3............ Jax have beaten Hou (non cover) and INDY this year. Denver is a helter skelter type but much better at home. Both teams have horrid def, but I'll happily take a top 5 "O" at this short price and elevation.
San Diego -6......... Last weeks results give value here. NE is a farce of a 3-1 team. Happily take better "O" and "D" at home. Patties played their best game YTD LW off a bye and now have b2b west coasters. Lay it.
