The publisher just reduced the price. It is temporary. It has been $8.99 for almost a year.

I sign books at retail stores and it doesn't cost extra.

As far as making money on eBooks go, the rule of thumb is, you aren't real 'till you ship a mil.
So $1.99 or $8.99 - doesn't matter so much at this point. I am going through something called due diligence. Building my readers over a 10 year period etc......
