it does not come from here, ask dr strangelove or run adaware. maybe that will work.

Use Firefox if you are not.

Also run adaware and a program that is great that many people do not know about is Peer Guardian http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/

It blocks all the adaware sites and a lot of others.. you can update the lists every week and it works great.

do you have a google or yahoo toolbar installed? They both come with pop up blockers and have absolutely NO spyware. I'm sure of it - read up on them at download.com. I think google is the preferred one but I really like them both.

Toolbars IMO are really not worth it. Even those they might not have any spyware - their are plenty of better ways to stop pop ups.

Starting just a few minutes ago, i've been getting a weird box popping up asking for a user name and a password. I just hit the 'x' in the top right and it goes away, but then pops back up every time I click on a thread or go to make a post.

i just ran adware before logging onto the site & still popped up.
something might trigger it and it appears to be coming from here but i guarantee no popups are generated from my servers.

i never get any popups from anywhere so i can't help. sorry, al

Here
it does not come from here, ask dr strangelove or run adaware. maybe that will work.

FROM DOC
Everyone should have on their cpu the following:

Ad-aware
spybot
ATF cleaner
Crap cleaner
CCleaner
Spywareblaster
Spywareguard
Mozilla Browser, NOT IE
CWS Shredder
AVG Antivrus, not Norton (it sucks and people pay for it),
Hijack This

And perform the following on a monthly basis:

EWIDO Scan
PandaHouse scan
Housecall Scan

The great thing about is it's FREE. I have never had a cookie, virsus, trojan, malware or spyware on my laptop since I became informed of such programs and daily routines. CPU runs like new all the time.

I'm serious too. I get like a 'security' box that pops up and asks for a user name and a password. It says '610' something or other on the top and then I click it and it goes away.

It would be really swell if you took posters (neaverteaseit and me) complaints a little more seriously in the future. Thank you.

wtmj is an online political type radio station. its based out of milwaukee.

i would imagine a guy like AR182 would listen to something like that and I hope its not disrespectful, I just think you are into politics. Maybe I have you all wrong and if so I apologize. Perhaps you've listened online to this before. Maybe they have some spyware on there.

and its station is 620 am. so maybe kosar saw 610 instead of 620.

back to my uselessness. :(

At least you're trying to be part of the solution, unlike Jack, who just mocks us who get boxes popping up.

Not saying i'm getting it from here, chump. Just saying what was happening as I navigated this site. But it hasn't done it for a few minutes now. Thanks for taking care of whatever the problem was. :SIB

I'm getting that popup too. Madjacks is infected. Thanks a lot. Now I'll have to tell every woman I've communicated with online the last month to get her PC checked.
