The misses and I viewed it last evening. I have to say it was one of the more enjoyable movies I have seen this year. Hot cars, gun fights, fist fights and some twists and turns. Tom Cruise is at his best playing a badass which he did in this movie. Its a long movie at 2hr 10min but did not seem as such which indicates I was enthralled. The misses enjoyed it as well.

I know fans of the book were super pissed about the casting of this midget as the 6'5", 250-pound, blond-haired title character. From what I hear, it's an average movie that could have been good if the fuck faces that run Hollywood wouldn't have cast this washed-up smurf.

Somebody should make an autobiographical movie on the life of GEorges St Pierre and cast Pee Wee Herman to play him. Would be about the same thing that was done here.
I am a huge Lee Child fan and love the Jack Reacher series. I am not going to see this movie because of the casting of the small Cruise. Sorry.
Just saw the movie...........very solid, Cruise was good, I didn't fall asleep once, lots of action.
:0074 like toms movies but guy was like 6'5'' in the series .. to bad this could be made a few times for the big screen .....

He needs to embrace the fact that the vast majority of the public find him an annoying prick and start playing that role. I never find him to be a believable hero. The roles where he embraces his prickhood are his best like Rain Man, The Color of Money or his hilarious turn as the agent in Tropic Thunder.
