Five Guys is good, just don't get the fries to go. They put them in old school brown paper bags and they get fully saturated with oil. I'm okay with eating it I just don't want to see it.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
"Consumer Reports" surveyed 28,000 subscribers on "the best- and worst-tasting burgers around the U.S", published the results last month's issue. The top two
(In-N-Out and Five Guys) came out in virtual tie for 1st. The McDonald's tested was the plain basic burger. No doubt the Quarter Pounder or Big Mac would have scored somewhat higher.

1. In-N-Out Burger
2. Five Guys Burgers and Fries
3. Fuddruckers
4. Burgerville
5. Back Yard Burgers
6. Culver's Frozen Custard
7. Whataburger
8. Hardee's
9. Carl's Jr.
10. Checkers Drive-In
11. White Castle
12. Wendy's
13. Sonic Drive-In
14. A&W Restaurant
15. Krystal
16. Burger King
17. Jack in the Box
18. McDonald's

Here's one of my many In-and-Out Double Double Animal Style burgers--from July of this year, Tropicana Avenue location in Las Vegas!

In addition to the standard toppings, animal style burgers include: pickles, extra spread, extra grilled onions, and mustard (fried onto each meat patty).

I never tried Five Guys Burgers, just might have to real soon!

I much prefer in and out over five guys. There is a place around here called cheeseburger bobbys that is also one of my favorites. Awsome burger and you put the condiments on yourself from something that looks like a salad bar there are so many condiments. All you can eat fries, but I have neer seen anyone go back for more. If anyone has one of these around I highly recommend it.

In-N-Out and Five Guys are different. It they were both available in this area I would visit both depending on my mood. I think I like them equally as well. Fries are better at Five Guys. But, if you're in the mood for thin fries, In-N-Out is better.

Burger King, White Castle and Mcdonalds shouldn't even be on the list. I'm not familiar with the others.

I've never heard of RR:shrug:

I hear good things about 5 guys from Scott Van Pelt, but none of those here either:shrug:

That is hard to believe there no 5 Guys in your area:shrug:

One of fastest growing chains in country and you should defo look into franchise opportunities if you are looking to buy anything :0074
