I am against gay marriage not people being gay, I will not be going to prison anytime soon :0008

It amazes me how much of a hypocritical asshole you are.

No wonder your wife wised up and left, as soon as your kids are old enough they will realize how much of a piece of shit you are as well.

17 years later its a problem?

The Defense of Marriage Act, passed by Congress and signed into law by President Clinton in 1996, defines marriage as only between a man and woman. As such, it denies federal spousal benefits to same-sex couples

It's amazing to me how so many threads turn into a Hedgehog vs world battle of wits; even stupid threads started by trolls like this.

I'm pretty much staying away from debating this issue, since I feel like I am too close to it.

And Hedge as much as I think you are a lunk-head at times, I empathize with you being the anti-gay marriage symbol on this website. Even if only 25% of madjackers are anti-gay marriage, you are the guy everyone shouts at regarding this issue. Of course it?s because you stick your foot in your mouth at pretty much every opportunity.

I think part of what started this particular thread was based on something you said in the politics forum; along the lines of not shopping at JC Penny and Starbucks because they support gay marriage.
So I posed the question (over in the politics forum) that if Jack supported gay marriage would you stop posting here. The analogy being you don?t want to support businesses that supports gay marriage. How far you will go to isolate yourself from differing opinions and how committed you are to your anti gay-marriage stance?
OR are you all sizzle and no steak? Do you say random shit but perhaps in your heart of hearts don?t mean half of what you say? Or perhaps you make posts without thinking things through carefully and critically (my vote is in this bucket). In which case people shouldn?t take you so seriously because what you say has very little true meaning.

None of it is very flattering towards you, but for some reason a lot of us here just want to figure you out.

Come on Agent.... you know Hedgie is smarter than God, right? That's the reason he got the pass on the marriage thing.

as i`ve said before,i`m pretty much ambivalent on the issue....but it`s a bit unfair to call everyone a bigot if they disagree...that`s just a lazy argument and doesn`t withstand scrutiny(hedgehog`s motives notwithstanding...lol)....

would basically make many of our parents bigots...would also include (until very recently)hillary clinton and barack obama.....

polls are basically all over the place(you get the result you want based on the pollsters agenda in many cases) but certainly until very recently a majority of blacks and hispanics opposed gay marriage.....

truth is,when put to a referendum,it`s been voted down in the majority of states the issue`s been broached(including california)...

all these people aren`t bigots...many people are traditionalists and agree more with civil unions and the protection of rights of gay couples...i think they fear the "slippery slope" argument....

just sayin`...it`s not always a black and white issue...and people that disagree with your p.o.v don`t necessarily do so with malicious intent...

1st of all Weesie I wouldn't be too concern about accountants who have time to troll internet 24/7 this close to april 15th commenting on how smart "you are"

--according to our status quo race baiters here if one opts for civil unions over marriage they are automically haters so I must assume that if a person opted agaist them maryring their brother-father- 4 sisters etc they would also be haters by same grading.

IMO Let the people decide (states rights) I have no prob with states that allow it nor states that don't. My probs are with people chatising others for their beliefs and referring "them" the haters.
Hate has no boundaries!

10 states allow it Dogs

40 states have voted against it, I say states rights too...and no federal benefits

They do not have kids and can't produce them unless they get a surrogate or adopt so make them pay more in taxes

So a married man and woman should pay more in taxes if they don't have children and are unable to have children?

Penneys and Starbucks support gay marriage and you will not set foot in their stores because of that belief. The owner of this website supports gay marriage yet you continue to enter, support, and use this website's services. What's the real reason you won't go to JC Penney and Starbucks? You claim that you will boycott any business that supports gay marriage, so what's the real deal?

I truly don't understand why anybody would be upset and against 2 men or two women getting married. Why would you care? I don't get it.

So then what is the big deal if he wants to get married? It wouldn't make him any different than he is now except instead of having a boyfriend he would have a husband.

Yep, crapman isn't getting enough on his red white and blue card each month.

Hedgehog, dude, quit while you're not so far behind. This is a liberal/mostdon'tgiveafuck/toeachhisown site, and you will never come out on top with these issues with

I wouldn't even answer bc the issue proves to be so inflammatory. I'm about ready to delete Facebook bc of all the bs on there both ways about gay marriage. This thread has about deviated to political as well.
