the Supreme Court will make a ruling and then we will go from there
I believe marriage is one man and one woman:shrug:
So since that is your belief, do also believe that they should not be entitled to their life partners benefits when they pass away? Let me give you a scenario, a Navy Corpsman is killed trying to save the life of a Marine wounded in battle. The Marine also perishes. Both have twenty two years of service. The Corpsman is gay and has been with the same person for 25 years while the Marine married his 5th wife just before leaving Indonesia and shipped her back to the U.S. She arrived two weeks prior to his death. So you think she should be entitled to lifelong benefits, but the Corpsman's partner should be immediately escorted to the front gate and kicked off the base because he doesn't have the same rights as the Indonesian immigrant that doesn't even know how to say United States yet?
Yeah, you stick by those beliefs and keep telling yourself that they are reasonable and not biased towards bigotry.
Hope that helps,
FDC
