Quick, easy, and most importantly, good! Below is most of the things I use. Went with the rotisserie Cajun fryer to save a little time. Couple of tablespoons of hot cajun seasoning, couple of bay leaves, parsley, garlic, hot sauce.

Add trinity

Add Chicken Broth and bring to boil

Add rice, 2/1 broth/rice ratio. Turn heat to low and put lid on. After 15 minutes stir. Turn heat off and let sit an additional 15 minutes
