Jack - When I play with my friends for money we use no carts. It's a little harder striking and placing the ball were you want it after you have walked 9 holes, carrying a bag, and actually having some sort of stamina to do it 18 holes.

If this kid just wants to play for shits and giggles I will ride in a cart. But, if we're playing for money than I must insist on not using a cart. There is a reason why the PGA doesn't allow carts. When I played at BSU we used no carts and it's alot harder to play walking then resting in a cart in between holes.

Who said I would be tired after nine holes...? You obviously don't want to play and I understand you probably bit off a little more than you can chew. I could care less than you and your bunch of overweight wanna be golfers use carts.

Obviously, you never played in high school or college or you would know what I was talking about. I've never seen someone back down from actually walking 18 holes playing golf. Pretty sad.

That's true, my clubs are covered in cobwebs in garage. Not seen em since August. I might play once before September. Maybe....

That sounds fair to me... You said that you would be in Indy around September, as that date becomes closer then we can set up the exact time and course. Sounds like a good time. Looking forward to a good challenge.

With whatever you all decide, my suggestion, send MJ the $500 each, play $100 per hole, whoever wins the most holes also get the 1K sitting with MJ. Max loss is 2300, which obviously both have played golf and seem to be good, therefore one would have to get smoked to seriously lose a lot of $, I can't see this happening.
