he is out of commission, apparently he felt Red aAuerbach was disrespecting him by repeatedly not answering his questions or even looking at Johnny as he spoke to him, he just sat looking straight ahead on his bench, so Johnny hauled off with his best shot and wham......... nothing but intense pain. It was not until he was on the gurney , screaming in pain and cursing Red that he noticed the ease at which the pigeons landed on Red's stogie and sat upon the plaque commemorating his statue in Quincy Market.

JACK JOHNNY KNOCKDOWN IS A REAL PERSON HE USED TO FIGHT IN THE GOLDEN GLOVES HERE IN BOSTON MANY YEARS AGO HE IS NOW 48 HE WAS A SPARRING PARTNER FOR MARVIN HAGLER WHEN MARVIN FIRST STARTED OUT HE NEVER REALLY GOT A CHANCE TO MAKE ANY MONEY HE HAD A LOT OF LOCAL FIGHTS BUT THEY PAID NOTHING LIKE 5 GRAND A FIGHT.HE WORKS IN CONSTRUCTION AS A LABORER HERE IN BOSTON MAN WHAT A TOUGH F-CK THIS GUY WAS AND IS.I DO EXAGERATE A LITTLE BIT HE DOESNT GO AROUND PUNCHING PEOPLE OUT FOR LOOKING AT HIM THE WRONG WAY.I LENT HIM SOME DOUGH YEARS AGO SO I AM ON HIS GOOD SIDE THANK GOD BECAUSE HE ALWAYS SAYS TO ME BEANTOWN YOUR LUCKY I LIKE YOU OR I WOULD HAVE KNOCKED YOU OUT YEARS AGO.THANKS JOHNNY BOY:eek:
