My wife wants to see this this weekend. I really dont like seeing the good reviews as I already had my mind up that I wasnt going given the play-by-play she gave me as she read the book. You all are taking my excusses away:facepalm:

The wife and I took it in last night based on the reviews in this thread. Probably would not have gone to this movie otherwise. I must say it was a very emotional flick but very depressing. A little on the long side but very much worth seeing.
Would not use the word great, but it was better than I expected:0074 .
