Agent, Try reading the following with an open mind:

To call someone a n***er is nowhere near as a bad as arguing that black people have lower intelligence than whites. To make a targetted claim is worse than calling a name. All hate speech can be hurtful. But racism crosses the line and becomes dangerous when it encourages false belief about a targetted group.


Al's joke (not that he wrote it) didn't stereotype Mexicans. It is not implying that Mexicans are all panhandlers. The joke makes light of anti-mexican sentiment among Americans, particularly in the Southwest. So the joke is stereotypical of Americans, not Mexican Americans, unless you feel Al is implying that all Mexicans are panhandlers.

I'm not shocked there are lots of posters on here with reading comprehension problems. I got a beef with AR because he's a hypocrite.

Here's a typical AR gem that usually goes un-noticed by most.

you can tell by his numerous anti-semitic remarks that he has a severe hatred for jewish people.....so much so that he sides with a terrorist group that has killed many americans & who the cia says has threatend innocent people to let them hide their weapons in their houses, use them as shields & prevent them from leaving their homes.

i use to take pride in this political forum that this forum wasn't like other forums on the net. in the past we debated many issues here without lowering ourselves by making bigoted remarks.....but then this asshole hammer comes & he immediately lowers the standard of this political forum.

i am simply amazed that the moderators here let him continue making these hateful comments & am very disappointed in the forum veterans for not calling him out on this.

I agree with that. Just saying he 'plays' to it over and over. You may fall to it and not even realize it. He may sway you with all his BS.
