If there is a specific term that I need to search for, yes I can use google to locate that most likely. But that just scratches the surface of what I need. I would go into further details, but I fear I would be revealing too much.

something that i haven't tried but i will over the weekend is

using google to find an old thread - go to it and bump it - then try searching something from the old part of the thread to see if it is found now

I have to re-index every post and thread ever made on the site. It's very server intensive and I will start the process late Monday night. It could take three or four days. Hopefully it goes smoothly without any errors.
