there is a coffeetable book that has photos of this era where ironworkers were photographed working on the skyscrapers across our great country.

one of my brother`s old girlfriend`s ex`s was an ironwroker....indian fellow...not sure what tribe.......worked on a few of the buildings in downtown baltimore.....

moved to new york to live on the reservation....

There's a mohawk tribe that gets a lot of the NYC work. Saw a special a few weeks back about the new World Trade Center tower and 1/2 the iron workers crew was from that tribe.
