We slept right thru it; didn't know a thing about it until a few minutes ago when my wife called and asked about it--one of her co-workers was telling her about waking up to his house shaking this morning.

Clint Were you @ work or home -did you feel it?

at home, and I really felt it! At first, like you, I thought somebody was trying to break in. Then, I thought it was the cats fighting and bouncing around the room. I then thought it maybe was one of those lowrider cars with the heavy bass sound system, and finally, I thought it might be an earthquake. Found out pretty soon on the news it was.

It woke my wife and I up in Cincinnati. The dogs started barking as well. I had been through a aftershock in southern California in the 90's that actually lifted me out of bed which I think was a low 5. This one didn't seem as bad.

My first thought was Rolltide must have fallen out of bed. Then I realized the house was still intact and not collapsing so the cause was most likely natural and not man-made.
