I've always liked the guy, and it's a shame that he was so injury prone.

Thinking about him a little bit today made me think even a little higher than normal of him.

Who had more reason to take performance enhancing (speeds healing) drugs than he did? This really makes a statement to him as a person.

Thoughts?

Who said he didnt:shrug:

Well, I guess I am. :)

My guess is that injuries would not have played as much of a role in his career if he did, and he did not show the crazy muscle/body abnormal growth that others around the league did.

If I had to plunk money down it would be on that he did not use.

Ability to recover and hulking up are not the same(see cyclist). Having said that I would tend to agree that he would be low on my list of suspects. The funniest part of this whole PED situation is the longer it goes, the more the likes of conseco, camminiti(sp), and rocker get justified. Most, if not all of what they were saying is now coming to to light:mj07:

Couldn't agree more. He would be low on my list of suspects as well. Always liked the guy and hope he makes the HOF someday.

Conseco on the day he broke the story[of book release and subject matter] to Dan Patrick on ESPN said that the mass majority would not believe the book was factual but in the end all of the world would know he was telling the truth.

Hero's.:nono: ..Role Models :nono:

Clemens..Bonds..McGwirer..Sosa ..ARod

and the list goes on and on...

Choose wisely when buying those Jersey's for the children...

unless of course you don't want to talk about the past..

Then a McGwirer Jersey will be perfect..

I too believe that more stars were juiced than we want to believe, and Jr's injuries were random, like running into the wall, etc. Still think he may have been juiced as well. He really caused an uproar in the ATL sportstalk world today for sure. A lot of let down people. :sadwave:

Completely agree. Particularly the last line (assuming we are correct, of course).
