She is getting picked up and taken to therapy everyday for three hours a day and is complaining relentlessly so things are definitely looking up.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you that have been so gracious to my daughter and myself, this has been the hardest few months of my life. Kristyn has expressed that she wil be sending thank you cards to each and everyone of you that have touched our lives in ways you can never imagine. Work has been gracious enough to let me make up some of the numerous hours I missed as I am going to need them as the friggin bills are already starting to pour in. I don't know about you but something needs to be done about health care costs. Her therapy alone is more than $480 a day. Ridiculous, but necessary and I thank the big guy every day that they are hospital bills and not funeral home bills. God bless everyone of you here at this website.
Kristyn tells me she wants to come to the next get together when she is healed to meet everyone in person. I will be the one crying his eyes out. thank you again, I can't say it enough. You are all able to step a little taller today knowing that you helped a young woman get through this with your kindness and love.
On another note, the asshole copped a plea of 25 to life with possibility of parole after 22 years. Unreal. if he gets out I will be 67 and he will be enjoying his last few moments.
