I think you can make money "fading" most people. The trick is having "ALL" of their picks just as having all of a "good" cappers picks and getting the best lines possible. Years ago I got a FREE year of service from a tout in NY state. He guaranteed a FREE YEAR if he lost $$ on a particular weekend. He lost and actually honored the deal. I faded him religiously for a year. Didn't make a lot mainly because he did decent with his TOP PICKS, but i did make money. Akems I think was his name. Don't know whether he's still in business. It was "pre-internet" days. If I paid him his fee and did the same I wouldn't be ahead, but for FREE I was. Pretty neat guy, but he couldn't pick any better than guys on here.

You're wrong. Anti-Lang bought cars and houses. One thread at another site had so many posts that it locked up the thread/site and had to be re-started.

It has to do w/ Lang's inferior brain-power and his inability to rationalize winners. He's so backward that his IN-ability is a great asset. An uncanny talent actually.

Correct, cash man. Hard to say w/ certainty that it will continue.

But it's fact that Lang is so backward that his expectation is actually Negative.

Let's put it this way:

and I mean no disrespect to any of the mentally-handicapped in the community at all by this. Let's say you had a mentally-challenged uncle who casually followed the NfL. Every week you ask him his picks, and he goes 2-3.

You gonna stop riding that train? That's sort of like Lang. His wires are crossed upstairs.

Let ME put it to you this way:

People fall all over themselves to suck the dicks of the guys who are on fire here, or even have some name recognition.

Why in the hell would anyone bang a guy for doing the same thing in reverse??????

I don't mean any disrespect, but I never could figure out any gambler who says, "They MADE money doing this or that, but decided to QUIT." I've had a few friends who have said that about playing cards or betting horses, dogs, etc. It's not like you were doing something illegal, like selling drugs. :nono:
Now if they want to say, "I wasn't making enuff money for the TIME I put in." That's different. But to me, just to say you quit because of this or that? I don't get it. To each their own, but to me it's like saying I was making 10-15% in my 401k every year but decided to quit because I got tired of opening my envelopes every quarter to look, so I put my money in CD's. Just sayin. I don't mean to offend anyone. :0008

Well said. On the other hand, I quit because it got to be too easy. Got sick of having to take the time to collect from my bookie every week.

let me tell ya man... if u met a great girl and were lucky enough to have that girl marry you and had a father that lost the farm to gambling, then you would quit too, or you would be a douche.... just sayin! other than that, she has agreed recently to allow me to play small just for fun and that's why i'm back and playin...just for some fun and I get to keep the best thing in my life which is her.. so there ya have it!

NO PROBLEM. I ALWAYS THOUGHT OF GAMBLING AS A "HARD WAY TO MAKE EASY MONEY" AND IF I COULD SOMEHOW FIGURE IT OUT I'D CONQUER ANOTHER PROVERB: IF YOU CAN MAKE MONEY AT WHAT YOU ENJOY, YOU'LL NEVER HAVE TO WORK.
GOOD LUCK

The funny thing is that when you bet against someone you are actually betting that they will pick 47.62% or lower over the long term. That is what would be required for you to break-even.

And thats why you fade them. Their tendacies and factors that influence picks have them hitting 40% or less. You actually do not think that there are betters out there that hit less than 48% over the long haul. Tramp they are not flipping a coin.

Sorry to hear about your father 'losing the farm' to gambling. But with such a bad experience, why in the world would you have even started gambling in the first place??

sorry, mistyped.. it was her father... not mine. She just didn't want to see it happen again. she trusts me more now because I share with her every bet I place and it's for marginal monies. in any event, Lang was a good fade!:0074
