sorry, mistyped.. it was her father... not mine. She just didn't want to see it happen again. she trusts me more now because I share with her every bet I place and it's for marginal monies. in any event, Lang was a good fade!:0074

In that case, sorry to hear about her father. But in regards to Lang, where do you guys get all of his picks? I know he charges for his so-called service. Do some of you actually pay for his services, then fade his picks? If you get his picks for free, where could I find them? From what I've read about this guy, it seems you should fade all of his plays EXCEPT his Superbowl play...

Trampled...

Trampled...

Fading shitty cappers is essentially the same concept as tailing good ones. A guy like Lang isn't throwing darts, he's putting time and effort into his work, but is simply a proven loser. He is good at being on the wrong side. If he honestly started flipping coins, then yeah, the EV is the same -110 juice that everyone else is getting on a 50/50 shot in the dark, but he is a well documented loser... the same way some great cappers are documented winners. Tailing the plays and money management concepts of said winners yields a profit. History has evidenced that fading and managing your bankroll in the exact inverse of a guy like Lang... also yields a profit. It comes down to whether you believe a bad capper (i.e. Lang) is really just guessing, or if he's really spending time analyzing and making wrong decisions. :toast:

Last nite, Lang had a '15 DIME' play on Creighton +. He also had a "free play" on Santa Clara + Those would have made you feel tingly all over. :scared

Nothing yet today. Will put it here if I see it.

And thats why you fade them. Their tendacies and factors that influence picks have them hitting 40% or less. You actually do not think that there are betters out there that hit less than 48% over the long haul. Tramp they are not flipping a coin.

:0074

You can kid yourself all you want but over thousands of plays, if you have no skill you will settle in at the 50% mark.

It doesn't matter what his method is. If you have no skill, you will settle in at the 50% mark over enough time.

If it's possible for somebody to hit 55%, then it's also possible for somebody to hit 45%. Enough said.

Not when the 55% is based on a talent or statistical analysis. When you suck, you are basically flipping a coin. Why is that so hard for some of you to understand? JFC

There is a reason we pay juice you know. If you lowered it to 49.5% or so you would lose every cent you have with just a few thousand plays.
