With a 3rd bambino not too far off in the distant future, the saint family needs a bigger ride. It's amazing how much crap kids need for a weekend at the beach. We're considering the following-

Yukon Denali XL
Suburban LTZ
Escalade ESV

Right now the preference is that order. The Escalade is just a bit too ghettofied to me. My only hangup is that my family only ever owned Toyota/Lexus/Acura and so the cars were well made. Anyone have big issues with GMC/Chevy?
Anyone own any of the above and happy/unhappy?

You will have less problems with a Cadillac than you ever had with any other vehicle.

Just go drive it.

That's all I have to say.

That's what I told my wife. She's almost refusing to let me drive the caddy because she knows I'll want that one.

Oh wait, your a dentist, maybe try the Audi q9 diesel only goes for about 65k, my bad :0008

The denali xl will end up being close to that. But I tend to keep cars 8+ years.

I have driven 2 cars in my 16 years of driving. I think I'll start another thread, would make an interesting topic.

Just tell her to get over thinking she is too young or too cool for a minivan and get that. So much easier with a bunch of kids.

Why not go with a Lexus if that's what you're use to? The GX is a good car with a nice size. Is this for you or your wife? To me the GX is a little on the girlie side of things. If you can do it I would go with the Cadi. IMO it's a cool car and in no way ghetto. Of course it seems every other car in Plano is a Escalade. I think it went from being ghetto to every soccer mom and dad in the world needing 22s because 20s don't look good enough.(forget about the ride I guess)

I forgot to mention it but if you can get the Audi with a 3rd row then it's not even close to me. I believe the q7 has one.

My Range Rover doesn't have a 3rd row but to be honest I'm happy it doesn't. There has been tons of times now that I can't take all of the girls(4th grade) to soccer or the movies because I can't fit them all in. Sometimes bigger isn't better!
