With all you guys living in Vegas area, where is the best place to buy Las Vegas show tickets? Best prices? Should we wait until we get there to buy tickets? What are the best shows 4 kids would like, ages 14-18? Angela and I want to take the kids there to see the "lights" end of July for 4 days.

While they sleep in and hang out at the pool we will find time for our own fun :SIB

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

don't make plans before you get there. just go through all the magazines they leave in your room and decide together what you want to see. unless there is some headliner you all want to see that might be difficult to get tickets for.

but go see ...............

I seen this show many years ago. It was good. Not good how I got the tickets though. Had to sit thru the sales pitch on a time share:mj07: It's was our first time out in Vegas and didn't know what the hell we were doing but got free tickets to the show. Been to Vegas 4 times since and that is the only show we seen.:mj07: Can't seem to get away from the Blackjack table long enough. Always say we will rent a car and go see other sites, never made it to any of those either.

I don't mind sitting through those pitches, telling them to wrap it up and they're on a time limit, and at the end telling them I can get the same thing for 1/2 the price through Wyndham since my wife works there.

Then comes the attitude, and believe me I can dish it out better than they do once they start in with it. The last guy got upset and went straight to his Manager. When he got there, he treated us pretty well after I explained the situation in a professional manner. Then comes the free stuff :00hour :00hour

BTW Wineguy,

Love is a can't miss show - right up there with "O" if you like the Beatles and like the Cirque shows. They often run specials on Ticketmaster with codes. I'll look for some links.

Wineguy,

I've seen at least 4 cirque shows the 1st one was Mystere which impressed me the most , O was ok but I'm sure glad my boss picked up the tickets. Couple years ago we seen Love & it stands right up there with Mystere. Personally I would pass on O.
One night my wife ( who doesn't gamble) wanted to do something so I picked up tickets at the Comedy Club (Harrahs) & we really enjoyed the acts plus it was cheap. Limit yourself to one good show. On one trip we seen Siegfried & Roy, Blue Men & Mystere way too much & $. Enjoy !
