Jack

I was meaning to ask you this.

Can you explain the feeling when your playing poker in one of the tournaments.

Do you feel constant pressure ?

Is it a feeling of loving every minute ?

Is it so up and down emotions that it affects you mentally not knowing what will happen ?

Las Vegas would be a great place to live. Wonder if Jacks family would be up to that kind of a change though. Most of us would want to live there if we could, but family obligations are always looming.

Jack, do it if you can......it took some convincing from my wife (I'm always scared of change), but I am so glad I did.

Wow, I would think that is the place that would be ruined by living there.

Not saying the thought never crossed my mind, but it's kinda in a horrible desert, has serious overgrowth issues, has little or no local vibe or cultural off the strip, etc. etc.

Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.

Been going to vegas frequently since 1971..

Not much between Caesers and the Hacienda (now Mandalay Bay) but tumbleweeds at that point.

With the corporate suits in charge, it does not have much going for it anymore....the mob ran it right.

Now it is just take your money, overcharge for meals, rooms , and shows, tighten the machines, raise the table minimums and fleece the "eyes wide open with awe" newbies.

The prevailing attitude is..."Build it, and they will come" the chumps and wannabees that is.

I now have very comparable Gambling 12 miles from home.
Plus I can sit naked at my computer, scratch my nuts and bet sports as I watch on widescreen..

Old Vegas, we knew you well....New Vegas...where you gonna get water in 15 years?

Backoff buddy :nono: who needs water when there is plenty of beer :00hour :00hour

and don't even compare sitting at home in front of the comp and betting as opposed to going to the sportsbook :nono: I'd much rather be at a sportsbook with $1 drinks and bunch of other degenrates cheering and screaming at the numerous big screen tvs, than be at home
