Can I buy a fare from the beer store to my house and tell the guy to grab me a 12-pack, then pick up a pizza on the way?

you can have the driver pick YOU up and go get your pizza and beer

it is GPS based to come where the PHONE that requests the ride

Can you plan out a ride with stops and get the price upfront round trip?

Do you do it? Do you add to the fare? Suppose it's out of the way? Suppose they want you to pick up other people?

of course I do it ... the ride is based on time and mileage

in bold happens a lot too ... UBER actually offers fare sharing where multiple riders can share the amount of the ride

dont think you can for multiple stops ... but you can put your location in and where you are going and get a fare estimate before you request ride :0074

another BIG advantage over cabs ... if you are in a place where cabs are not right out front, then you have to call the dispatch and they say 30-45 minutes and you have no clue if 15 mins to an hour

when you pull up these apps it shows you how many minutes for your ride, their location, and you can follow them driving right up to you ... its like a personal satellite

So the price you get upfront is just an estimate. If the fare requires stops and a lot of extra time they get charged for it to their CC and you never can get stiffed either?

me as a driver does not know where we are going, just a request for a ride ... it could be a 2 minute ride or a 30 minute ride ... minimum ride charge is $4.00 and drivers get 80% ... obviously we like $25 rides better

YOU as the rider gets the fare estimate ... it is usually something like $12-16 for a span in case there is bad traffic

OK here is a good example of rate comparisons that you can relate: remember when you were in town for Ravens at New Years and I got you that room at Opryland Hotel? We went downtown to Ronnie's place and needed cab home ... we went to your hotel and then my place ... it was $50 .... in ride sharing it is about $17 downtown to Opryland and $6-7 from there to my house so it would have half the price and we could have split in between us on the app cashless

probably not available in your town

some tips ... NEVER hit the pin, always put in your address or even better the name of the place ie Main Street Station ... the pin is very often off and if you wiggle your finger at all it will move the pin away from your location

go under the promotions tab and put in my code 2qc6t ... then you will have free $20 credit on your 1st ride when ready to use

they have to be voted in by county commissions and I am guessing your town does not have the full time demand for the service ... BUT if you were ever in Indy, they could take you home ... just the app does not cover enough to pick up at your place but could be taken home if in the coverage area ... I have given several rides from Nashville OUT to surrounding counties ... I just cannot pick UP from those areas
