a loss pushes the Nats 6 back in the loss column w/24 to go..

Mets would be at 77-61..leaving 24 to go..

they play 500 ball AT WORST TO GO TO 89-73

Nat with a loss tonite 71-67.......24 games left..to get to 89 wins have to 18-6...

good luck with that ...from a team playing .519 baseball and 9 games below .500 on the road

12 road games left...only saving grace if the play out of their minds is to be within 3 the last 3 games of the regular season vS the Mets..

If they are 4 back w.3 to go the watch the playoffs with these other non playoff teams..

Gimme a break. I've seen teams come back from 4 down with 5 to play, anything can happen. Of course it's already unlikely for the Nats but with 25 games left you don't throw in the towel. :facepalm:

he is lights out...nice call..


The ace gave up three hits and two walks while striking out five. Kershaw carries a superb 2.12 ERA with a 0.89 WHIP and a 264/38 K/BB ratio over 208 innings. He'll face the Pirates in a home start next.
