Great to see a half way decent card today; lately they've been piss poor. See one race that I believe I may bave figured out and it's probably worth posting. Only posting this race.
Think I'll write it up a little differently than the way I used to. I'm posting it at the minimum bets with the exact total cost so we can see exactly how it comes out when all is said and done.
This is exactly the way I'm gonna play this race, EXCEPT for the exactas bet amounts (I'm gonna go a LITTLE higher). Going too much higher on any of the bets will through the whole thing out of kilter. IF the no. 9 goes off at less than 6-1 (I doubt that will happen) ya gotta go heavier on that WIN bet. My trifectas will be at $1/ticket.
At these levels, the cost of this thang is $57. You can lose it all, a little, win a decent amount (most probable in my opinion) or a lot. The play could break about even too cause some of the bets only insure the cost of the whole thing, like that no.9 hoss to Win part. I don't mind when that happens at all cause you had a FREE shot to hit something good. Play along or, better yet, just see how this method works. I don't think it's gonna be 2 favorites finishing 1st and 2nd; HOPE not cause them kinda finishes been burning me lately. Best of all - you can play your picks and maybe WIN.
If one horse scratches, just leave that one out, if more than one horse scratches - forget this whole thing and YOU gotta decide which one to play to WIN, only, between the 3,4, or 9. That would be the only play.
