It was okay. I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Some people will say it's the best movie ever made, some will say they were bored, some will say it was way too long. Nobody can say it wasn't well done or there was poor acting because it was very well done and very good acting.

You can't ruin it for anybody talking about it because we all know what happened.

If you want to watch about a month of Abe Lincoln's life and want to watch how politicians worked back in the 1860's and you want to see congressional hearings and corrupt politicians at work, you'll love it.

Otherwise d/l it at kat dot ph or wait till it comes out on video.

I'm glad I saw it, was well worth my 2.5 hours.

DDL is absolutely amazing. Why doesn't he work more?

Tommy Lee Jones was great, as usual.

All the acting was good. I never saw James Spader in a role like that and liked him in it too. Even Sally Field was good as Abe's wife.

Go see it. :0008

Saw it last weekend. It was pretty good and would recommend it to anyone that likes historical pieces.

BTW, saw it at the theater by myself since my wife refused to go. I was running a little behind, so I stopped quickly for popcorn and a pop. The only combo I saw was #2, so I got it. WHAT A FUCKING EMBARRASSMENT! A small garbage can worth of popcorn and a gallon of pop! No wonder our country is so fucking fat. I was embarrassed to walk around with it. A small family doesn't need that much, let alone one person. So wasteful.

I am interested in historical flicks, so will definitely watch on dvd or ppv as long as there are no vampires in this one.....

Also, Garfield 2 is another excellent choice if you are looking for a movie to watch as apparently JLH has never made a bad movie. Just ask kickserv or Old School.
