(Vanilla Visa gift card)

If anybody has any recent personal experience liquidating (obtaining the value of in cash) gift cards, please let me know. I have done extensive Internet research and have ideas of things to try, so I don't need links. I only have two that were gifted to me as a bonus for a referral, and I want the cash instead of using them to buy things. Thanks in advance.

Good luck

Good luck

Try to sell them to friend for face value or 90% of face value.

If this doesn't work, you can get rid of them fast online.

The best way to go is ebay. I've done it myself with a bunch of them I don't want. You will have to deal with the fees, but oh well. Also, it depends upon how popular the gc's are, the more popular they are the better price they will bring (for example, you'll get more money for an Amazon GC than you will a Darden restaurants gift card).

Good luck!

Somewhat like a prepaid card then. If it were me I would just use it like it was cash. My wife gets prepaid Amex's at work quite often and we use them on everyday expenses and keep all of our receipts. I would just use it then.

Good luck,

I might be able to help.

Ultimately, what do you want to use the cash for? Anything? Or do you have something in mind?

Pocket money. I spent over $700 on new apartment things, groceries, etc.

Whatever you wish to use your pocket money for, that card will work. Never know your 'dealer' may even accept them :0002 like watching a flick

I agree. Sounds like a coke head looking to score.

I mean, where did he find this gift card? In a granny's purse on the vegas strip?

What kind of grown man gets access to a fruity Visa card called "Vanilla"?

Lot's of red flags here. Good call.

Bonus for a referral of a new nurse for the company I work.
