Little League team needs your help>>

Davenport Northwest Little League is off to Indianapolis tomorrow to play in the regional tourney, and they are falling short on donations for some reason If they win in Indy, they are off to PA for the second year in a row! :clap: :clap: (and in 2 more years, my boy will be there pitching for them....or so he thinks. )

Obviously, the *goal* they have set in the link will increase should they have to be on the road for the LLWS too.

anyone able to contribute just a dollar, it would be much appreciated by these 'lil boys.

jack, under my donation (donation LEADER by the way ) ... i listed Adam Peterson even tho he isn't on the all-star team..... i wasn't sure what to put there, so i listed my up and coming too young star (since it said in the name of a player rather than an all-star team member)

i went to both the fundraisers they had listed on their homepage too..... and think the probably came out very well at the bar last night, although not sure the car wash today went as well.... somehow girls in a bikini bring in more cars than little boys in ball shirts

ROTFLMAO ..... i'll have to throw that idea out at 'em, but not sure if LL endorses sports gambling

i was only hoping for a bunch of people to put $1 in the *other* choice. your donation was that of a saint for a non local team!!!

if it *was* possible to bet on these guys tho, i'd probably throw a bit down on them making it to PA.... (but they only have 2 repeat players from last year team that made it there.) next year, because of the birthdate change for eligibility, they should be a KILLER team!! (my son missed an additional year of eligibility by TWO freaken days .... wonder if the fact that he was born 3 weeks before his due date could count....LOL)

oh, and Beanie ..... not to worry, we don't live in an all white neighborhood ..... it's just that the majority of the black kids are practicing for the NBA rather than MLB so that they can screw you over on totals some day

Sure now the raised the goal should of put that in the first place. I was trying to make their work done for the day now will have to send some emails out to help reach new goal as well as the people from here at madjacks. They always have a good team and fun to watch.

WOW!!! can't even begin to tell you guys (and donna) how FABULOUS you are!!! Fletch, i will make SURE your dad gets a hat for that more than generous donation!! (does he want a NWLL hat?, and if so, what size?) I'm honestly not sure when the team and coaches will be back in town tho. It'll take them 2 days to get to PA from here, and that tourney starts a week after the one in Indy ends, so they may head straight to PA to do some practicing there, or they may come back home for an extra fundraiser.

they may not need an extra fundraiser with the contributions from here tho!!

and fletch, LMAO, i just saw that they went ahead and upped the goal amount.... they weren't gonna do that until it was set they were moving on, and i'm SURE they never expected to reach the $500 goal so quickly.
