Do they offer Puerto Nuevo style lobster on most of the menus out there in FL?
Puerto Nuevo is a very small fishing village on the coast of Baja Ca, in Mexico. over the years it has become very popular for a weekend getaway and great lobster, they take the entire lobster and cut in into halves and grill them , many recipes vary, yet the presentation is always the same. u can just about find it in any seafood restaurant in SO Cal.

I usually do mine on the grill shelf...foil boat of butter & garlic in the shell, cracked...and finish out of the shell on the grill, lathered in butter & lemon
Ohh while we are on the subject of lobster, there is this great bar with a very large rabbit sign in front of the Luxor in Las Vegas. I can not recall the name, but inside they have a machine, u know the ones u find in most arcade areas , with the mechanical claw that goes down and trys to get the stuffed animals and if u dont shake it lose , it will retrieve one , and u win,,, many variations of such game , sometimes its toys, or candy.
but anyway my point is, in this bar they have converted one of this into a lobster tank. and for one dollar u can try to grab one of these lobsters with the claw, if u win , they will prepare it any way you want with all the fixings.
one night my friends and I go in to get things started, well some 200 dollars later we finally won.:142smilie :142smilie :142smilie
the thing was , we always hooked them well, but as soon as the reached the surface , that tail kicked in and they fought like hell to get out of the claw. but i guess after 200 trys we wore them out, and showed them whos boss.
