BEWARE, this ain't the way to pick hosses! But, it is fun AND has been surprisingly profitable more often than it should have in the past.
Here's how it goes - NO pps, no speed ratings, no "BEAR" ratings (LOL), class moves.. basically nuthin but -
- picking from the list of entries ONLY, no PPs
- going by what I know about horses that I am very familiar with.
- going by post position, dist, owner/trainer/jockey and most of all ODDs. Only searching for longshots.
For this Sat, 10/20:
Race 3, 12 horse field
: nos. 9 and 10, 15-1 and 12-1. Note that no. 8, Rhyad ,is probably the best in this race, but we/me ain't looking for 5-1 shots and this one may go off at lower odds than that.
Race 4: No. 4 at 20-1 and no. 7 at 10-1. I actually gave the no. 4 a good look at in it's last race (went off at 68-1) and it looked a lot better than it's odds in that race. No need to wager much at all on this one, they don't bet this jockey at all. No. 7 impressed in it's last as well and I like the connections.
Race 6: No. 8, 8-1 M.L. Likes the turf but woulda liked to see a better performance in it's last at DELAWARE (Blah). Excellent turf (or dirt) trainer. for this one. Also, not expecting much from the others in this race. Should, at least, hit the board.
Race 9: nos. 3 and 7, 5-1 and 12-1. Much better post for the no. 3 and this one is currently in form; I'm pretty sure. Everybody may know about the trainer of no. 7. Jockey on this one is also doing well at this meet.
Am I gonna play all of these? Prob. no way. You know what that means; that is -> maybe you should.
Let's see what happens.
