I realize that this may be a stretch here, but it never hurts to ask:

I'm interested in a Fender Telecaster with a maple neck. and American made. The year isn't terribly important, but I am looking for something with character. Something with some bumps, bruises, dings, chips and so forth. Something that was actually played out in bars and has the wear to prove it.

If anybody knows anybody that is interested in selling one please let me know.

Thanks for your time.:0008

Dawg........that's a bit more beat than I was looking for. Actually the body is in great shape, just like a pissed off wife took it out on her cheating hubbies guitar.

Pimp..........Check Craigslist all of the time, but have had no luck recently. Passed on one about 8 months ago that was damned near exactly what I wanted as far as wear, but not really the color I wanted, but haven't seen anything even close since then.

Like I said, I figured it was a longshot, but I had to toss it out there. You never what any of us degenerate gamblers might find tucked in a closet when we've had a losing week.

Thanks for the input.
