a site to post help wanted.

Tried Craigs list with no success. Just a bunch of people already employed looking to bs a possible future employer into more money. Once I chat with them on the phone for a bit, my "personality" comes across and they look for easier prey elsewhere.

I'll pay if I need to but would rather go the free route initially.

IO, I'm unemployed at the moment maybe you would consider hiring someone who likes to drink beer and watch football. My wife will vouch for that. Seriously I did get laid off in Nov. I've been thru plant closings and lay offs so it's kind of the norm in this day and age.

think of a job that you have that people would want and when they call for it tell them it's filled but you have something else they might like.

i used to hire telephone solicitors like that. i'd put an ad in for secretary or receptionist and when they came in for the interview i told them it was filled and sold them on the job i needed filled ;)

it works!

Retail/route delivery

Need to be able to count, handle very physical work, and have a license in decent standing

kind of like what Boilermaker does

Can you count?

Can you show up on time and give me two weeks notice when you need off?

Can you drive stick?

Is your license ok?

Can you lift and move weight in a quick manner?

Do you have an organized train of thought?

Things generally don't get past those.:)

I think the last one does you in KOD:sadwave:

And the cash, hundo a day clear paid the last day of the week worked.

No friends Morris. It's all business.

I got to keep separation. I'm a bit "intense" when it comes to my bread&butter.

There's only one job and one opening to work for this tight little garage band. Each of the few (and proud) know all the same.

i'll take the job under a few groundrules:

1- i get paid before i work

2- you pay my room and board

3- i don't lift anything. you want something moved, you put it on the truck yourself. i'll drive during non-rush hour routes

4- i don't drive stick so get an automatic

5- i want to be able to wear flip flops and a hooded sweatshirt at all times

6- $500 per day per diem. If theres change, I'll get it back to you

7- I don't work weekends, Tuesdays, or Fridays

8- no afternoons on Monday or Wednesdays

9- if i want a day off, i take it. i ain't wasting my time calling you telling me what to do

10- company car....lexus quality or better

11- company cell phone with transatlantic phone access

12- gps system so i don't get lost

13- bulls suite when the lakers come to town

14- you aren't allowed to do a background check

i think thats it. when do i start?
