Where would I like to start? Figured you would change the subject and slam me over sports betting I tried 5 years ago. I at least had the decency to guarantee plays and I write a check for a refund. I hurt to this day over my mistakes. Yes, I made big time mistakes.

Now let's get back to the isue of the politics in this thread. I see you have a strong desire to look like a fool. I just read your thread about dem's earmarks. What a shameless, moronic post. Try searching responsible citizens on taxes & earmarks. The top ten list our all republicans. I only mention it because that is all you ever want to hear. Billions and billions spent on special interests.

To make myself clear, I'll repeat: they are all republicans. You also forgot to mention Bo Pickens and Warren Buffet like the direction so far in the most difficult time in our history, barring the Civil War. These two guys are willing to work for a solution without politics. What the fuck is wrong with people. Willing to stick for a particular party, even if it brings us down? I thought I was kind'a smart. I guess working together is a bad idea and I better shutup.

I am the most centrist person you would ever meet, voting for many republicans over my 56 years and voting for many demorcrats. I made mistakes voting for many of both sides. In fact, I would find it hard to find anyone who voted for the right person over recent years, DC is a sick place.

Yet, you don't want to hear anything of it. March the party line, not matter what the consequenses. I watch Fox, CNN, MSNBC everyday. I listen to a variety of radio everyday, especially enjoy Sean Hannity's bullshit. I buy and read books every year by conservatives, liberals, whatever? Why all the labels and the hate when we need smart people from everywhere to get out of this situation.

Wayne, I really don't think you are trying to help and living on the edge of some sort of un-American agenda. BTW, you have a great first name.

I like to write for a living and tried to give a well thought out post on non-partisanship. Never saw you in that thread. You would rather do an easy google to 2-3 sites and act like you are smart. Sorry, disgusting.

Oh, one more thing for you DTB, my losses over the last 5 years were 42%, kind of proud of that considering. I lost $1.30 if that makes it more believable to you. I don't have to work, I assume you don't have to either. Besides, you are moving to China soon, right. I remeber that thread.

Hey Atlanta, you asked about skulfuck. I have the same opinion as you.

I forgot the name of the dumbest person on the planet that posts all the time here, I just pray he'll have the courage to open up his NRA catalogue and buy a weapon that will leave no doubt when he uses it on himself.

If anyone cares, got out of the hospital at 2:30 today, I'm happy about that. Just say'in.

kcwolf, bound for loophole's wedding soon.

Does that include the massive bailouts of banks and brokerage houses at the end of 2008?

Yes or no would be fine. No need for all the dots as I think it's a pretty simple question.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs

yes(if the democrats in congress, led by economic illiterate extraordinaire barney frank,
weren`t in large part responsible for the mortgage mess by forcing the banks through legislation and litigation to loan money to the clearly umqualified)....

in this case, the government, through liberal feel good ideology and programs are culpable.....so i can see why they should be charged with making it right....

of course,that means WE pay....

kosie(lol)..you ever wonder why there hasn`t been a massive imdependent investigation of why this financial meltdown happened?....

they investigate valerie plame and why some attorney`s were fired....but not the cause of the largest financial meltdown since the great depression?.....

because dems control the presidency and control congress...

somebody tried to get rid of the evidence,though...

http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/090130/fannie_mae_virus.html?.v=5

why haven`t we heard more about this?....

"He was fired Oct. 24 from his computer programming job at Fannie Mae's data center in Urbana, about 35 miles from the company's Washington headquarters, where he had worked since 2006, according to the Justice Department. He was fired for erroneously writing programming instructions two weeks earlier that changed the settings on the servers, according to an FBI affidavit.

Fannie Mae did not immediately terminate Makwana's computer access after telling him he was fired early on the afternoon of Oct. 24, the affidavit states. Before surrendering his badge and laptop computer about 3 1/2 hours later, the indictment accused Makwana of "intentionally and without authorization caused and attempted to cause damage to Fannie Mae's computer network by entering malicious code."

Yeah, it was a big cover up. He was an agent of the terrorist loving socialist left.

GW, if you really believe that the global economic meltdown (that we will come out of, and business will survive) is the result of liberals "forcing" lending institutions into making obviously bad loans, then you understand very little about economics.

Please. The 'open border policy' has been around forever. It has contributed in a VERY small way to this mess. Not Bush's fault regarding the immigration policy. It's paralyzed. Republicans, big business and small business need the illegals for their cheap labor and the democrats need their support for their votes.

/hope *this* salves the wound a bit.

I'm calling for an official truce with Wayne (DTB). That was a nice gesture and thank you, sincerely.

weasel, my comment about the dumbest guy on the planet at this forum was not directed at you. I admire some of your stands, peace.

And lastly, was not looking for pity, I have some problems that worry me, I feel like I live there (hospital) been almost 9 months now. But a higher power led the way to my move to Iowa City. They have one of the best hospitals in the world. I'll be there in-patient and out-patient for 4 more weeks. It's not a barrel of laughs, so appreciate your health. Going to see Steve is a big incentive for me at his wedding.

Take care all, I love my country as much as any of you. Peace!

Best wishes, Wayne.

I'll see you at Steve's wedding and per that other thread the other day in general, you are always welcome to stay here if you're in the area. If you have other plans for housing, then hopefully we can grab dinner and a drink.

DTB pussy's out again.

just find any excuse not to respond. kc responded to you just as he got out. The least you could do is try to answer.

Geeez Louise.

Is the politics forum for sissys ?

Being a pussy is when your accused of being a deadbeat like I did you and you won't subject yourself to 3rd party scrutiny--and kurby

--as far as KC--I am taking a guess that considering his time slots at hospital there is good chance he is on dialysis--which is very painful experience and I would never contribute to any additional discomfort to him regardless of what he say's about me--he has always been good contributor here during years-especially in handicapping--so I give him his dues.

you on the other hand have never contributed anything--maybe you could change our minds if you can come up with one thing in your life you have done well--and be able to verify it.

on the 3 items--
Handicapping-service to country-financials ?
Which would you like to go into--
I'm pretty transparent and verifiable.
Handicapping-have 9 years worth graded by 3rd party with no losing year
Service to country--have posted military records
twice-silver star-3 bronze stars-2 airmedals (each representing 25 combat assualts by air) 2 army accomadations medals-purple heart among others
Financial- Have had 5 year in running thread on stocks for viewing-offered you wager of $10 a point on credit score-which you backed out like sand crab :)

Back to the title of the thread - looks like (with a little time to go) we might have just gone through four consecutive UP days in the market - a fairly nice sustained run. I heard this morning we haven't seen that since December of 2007.

Of course, I would assume some buying would eventually start, but some of it has to be due to the positive news coming from some of the large market entities, and perhaps from a lessening trade deficit which is new.

Not saying anything, really, just glad to see some good days in a row. Must be a spring thaw?

By the way, sincere best wishes with the medical stuff, Wolf.
