I see lowly Arkansas is ahead of number 8 Ole Miss 10-0. Lowly Hogs just beat LSU 17-0 and as you said lost by 1 to Bama.
Other than beat Michigan State what has OSU done? Lose to lowly Va Tech who just lost to Wake Forest?
Va Tech scored 35 points on OSU. They score only 6 on Wake.
if Fla St keeps winning and dropping then Ohio St. needs to go away. They should not even be in the conversation and in the end they won't.
Va Tech getting beat by a 5A High Scholl team today should improve Ohio St.'s strength of schedule though.

Yes lowly ARK..17 straight conf losses is pathetic....What does V tech loss today have to do with anything?.....Geez i guess Inidana keeping it close makes ohio st. suck so how bout indiana beating Missouri @ Missouri... W. Kent beat indy so i guess W. Kentucky would win the pathetic SEC east then??

If you truly think Indiana is comparable to Arkansas then you probably thought Ohio State was innocent of the charges that lead to a slap on the wrist and a one year bowl ban.
By the way I am not a fan of SEC.
I guess I am with the few who think Ohio st should still be in consideration
2 losses in last 3 years total......1 barely to a dominant MSU team and 1 to VA tech which is a bad one, but remember they were adjusting to a freshman qb and making the adjustments in only a short while compared to all of camp like most teams
barrett is now a very competent QB and well when Urban Meyer and co. have had time to prepare and not replacing a team leader at QB, well they have lost only 1 game in 3 years and to be honest nothing about them tells me they wouldn't compete with anyteam in the nation.
If west Carolina can be down 3 at 17-14 7 minutes until half I am certain Ohio st can and would be competitive.......

Yes. If games ends close but it is 38-14 at the half.
Ole Miss has yet to score down 20-0 to Arkansas who has been playing very well in past few weeks.

plenty of times we see bad teams hang around with good teams.....call it lack of preparation/trap games/undisciplined....regardless we see it all the time with all different teams....I don't see how ohio state can win a conference game by 14 and it make them no good......west Carolina was competitive with bama all 1st half....I didn't for 1 second think that bama was not as good as before because of it....I don't know why it happens with other teams.........
