May fond memories be your shoulder to lean on through these tuff days..

I Had my best friend leave us way to early also..

My memories of him and I bring laughter and tears in a single second of remembrance

Shamrock I am sorry about your friend...

I was 12 years old when he was shot & I remember when it happened. Growing up in Everett it was a huge story in the Boston area, nationally as well.

It is always so sad when the good people are taken too soon.

Sounded like a person everyone would have loved to know.

Sorry for your loss.

In the shadows
Such a tragedy Shamrock,
sorry to hear about your Loss

I am rarely at loss for words, except in sitiuations such as this. I think this a powerful and emotional song.

I had a friend many years ago
One tragic night he died
The saddest time of my life
For weeks and weeks I cried
Through the anger and through the tears
I've felt his spirit through the years
I'd swear, He's watching me
Guiding me through hard times

(chorus)
I feel it once again
It's overwhelming me
His spirit's like the wind
The angel guarding me
Oh, I know, oh, I know
He's watching over me
Oh, I know, oh, I know
He's watching over me

We shared dreams like all best friends
Blood brothers at the age of ten
We lived reckless, he paid the price
But why? Why did he have to die?
It still hurts me to this day
Am I selfish for feeling this way?
I know he's an angel now
Together we'll be someday

I feel it once again
It's overwhelming me
His spirit's like the wind
The angel guarding me
Oh, I know, oh, I know
He's watching over me
Oh, I know, oh, I know
He's watching over me

Shamrock..sorry for your loss.. I do remember when it happened..it reminded me of my good friend Herb Larkins....seeing this post will make me call him tomorrow..its been a few months since I talked to him....we raised about $2,000 here in MJ's for his computer and flat screen TV..Herb was a junior at North Texas and was in an altercation with a bully player...he is a quad like your friend...It happened in 1971....again sorry for your loss...
