Don't hate her but believe she is eminently un qualified. I have no idea why a guy who has pretty good political instincts would make a move like this. The country is in the center and he picks some gimmicky candidate who appeals to Rush Limaugh Sean Hannity and about 10M more people who would have voted for McCain anyway. He could have kept this a lot a closer with a better pick.

I've always liked McCain, but this ticket is awful. Would have voted or Obama either way though.

In all honesty, I just watched her speak live on CNN from Wasilla, and I should take back my comment that she perhaps couldn't change to become more moderate. She did, for the first time I've ever heard her, say some very sane and moderate things.

But I will not take back the statement that she's nothing special. I really don't think she is any smarter than your average girl off the street.
