Slow cooked BBQ pulled chicken sandwich. Three whole chickens on the Egg Monday over indirect heat for approximately 5-6 hrs using hickory/oak whole lump mixture + wood chips. Fresh roll from the local deli with 2 slices of swiss melted in the toaster oven prior to adding the chicken, which is well mixed with a homemade BBQ sauce.

I've been posting lunch as I'm about to eat, but I thought I'd throw in a little action from my Saturday night session on the Egg, because I ended up eating most of it for lunch the next day with the wife. She like the thin steaks and grilled onions. My steak was the NY Strip and it may look overdone, but I assure you that it was real juicy and all nice and pink inside. Mmmmmm.... The chicken breast, which I marinated in lemon juice, olive oil, fresh dill and rosemary (from our back yard), came out really good too.

LUNCH

This is called the November 2 Remember sandwich. Wide picked it up for me for lunch from an amazing deli at the bottom floor of her office building downtown. It's basically a thanksgiving leftovers sandwich with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, gravy and God knows what other deliciousness on there. After a few minutes in the toaster oven...Mmm mmm mmm. Out of this world !
