Well here`s an interesting match-up huh? All MAC-Mighty NIU travels to Tuscaloosa to face the Tide. NIU coming off a buy week before destorying Tennessee Tech - Mike Turner got 134 yards, and Jash Haldi threw for 252 yards. Not bad?? Yea I guess not. Beating Maryland isnt too shabby either, but was Maryland looking ahead to Florida St??? Perhaps - none-the-less a win is a win.

However....

This isnt Maryland nor is it Tennessee Tech...this is BAMA. The Dirtay Souf where they live on tradition and have some of the deepest roots there is in college football. Bama coming off an impressive victory over Fat Ass Jared Lorenzen and only holding them to 17 points. But does that really surprise anybody?? Certainly not me, Bama always has a good pass rush and Lorenzen sure as hell found that out Saturday. Kentucky had just 6 yards and no first downs on its first four possessions before Lorenzen got the offense going with his arm and his legs.

How does NIU match-up with Bama??? Well...they dont lol. Ive watched Bama on TV against Oklahoma and KY Jelly...and man they got speed. They dont have depth...but they sure have speed and talent!! Not bad for a team that was almost gonna get the death punishiment.

Bama WILL stop Mike Turner...Look what Bama has done the first 3 games this season against the run

Against Kentucky: 26 yards
Against Oklahoma: 74 yards
Against South Florida: 51 yards

Thats amazing...the linebackers are speedyyyyy and will close a gap immediatly. Considering NIUs offense goes through Mike Turner - even to setup the pass - its not gonna happen! Josh Haldi WILL GET SACKED AT LEAST 5 TIMES!!! Mark my words. He`s gonna face a defense that Wisconsin didnt bring...that Maryland wished they had this year...that any school in the MAC could dream of - Josh Haldi...welcome to Tuscaloosa, please pay me 5 units :) thank you

My Pick
Alabama -13.5(Best Bet)

As Lil Flip says....

South side... dirty dirty... south side... ahhhhh

It's the dirty south, it's just the dirty south,
It's the dirty south, the dirty south, the dirty south {repeat 2X}

Down south we wear bandannas and denim suites
Down south you gone always spot us in them coupes

Well down south we drivin bentleys and jaguars
And we play all our hoes like a game of flash cars

Down south we bout that dolla dolla
Grab a trick then hit and make em holla holla

Kent St @ Penn St (Not so happy valley)

Who the FAWK is Penn St to lay 25 points TO ANYBODY?!?!? They are nobodys...they were last decades news!! Joe Pa cant get the recruits...and cant get his OWN recruits to play his style of football - Joe Pa, your a hell of a coach...but hang the tie up brother. Its pretty sad when Penn St fans want Joe Pa OUT of the program and are 2nd guessing if they can actaully beat Kent St (seriously). This isnt the same Penn St team that had speedy defenders chasing the ball...that had ungodly beasts at linebacker...or have a running game that could run over the Big 11. This is a Penn St team that has lost its will to recruit the big time players...guess where they are going folks --- Pitt

Now, I know Kent St isnt great - in fact, they are probably gonna win 6 games this year and stay in the middle of the MAC pack. But when you have Josh Cribbs on your team - the possibilities are ENDLESS. Anybody watch the Nebraska game??? Nebraska didnt have to work that much to open holes - and no iam not comparing offensive lines here, but Iam stating the obvious. 2 players go for 100 yards or more. Nebraska even turned it over twice and Penn St couldnt do shit. Gave up 162 rushing yards to Temple, gave up 238 rushing yards to BC, and 337 rushing yards to Nebraska(yea I know they are option team...but still over 300..wtf)

Penn St has givin up tons of rushing yards the first 3 games...they have no rush D what-so-ever - and Josh Cribbs is coming to town...ohhhh fawwwkkkk. This is NFL BOUND Josh Cribbs by the way ;) How are they gonna stop Cribbs??? Ive only seen 1 school stop Cribbs throughout his career at Kent, and that was Pitt a few weeks back. Penn St is not gonna stop Cribbs or that running game. Iam not saying they are gonna win, but 25 points?!?! WTF??

Cribbs wanted to go to Penn St - but he was "too small" Cribbs will be bringing his magnums with him to Happy Valley to fawk that defense in the ass...

My Pick
Kent St +25

Eastern Michigan @ Navy

geez Iam betting on Eastern Michigan

Well I think we all know that Navy was leading TCU 3-0 at the half. Misleading...yea I`d say so. 3 turnovers by TCU could do wonders for opponents.

I dont know why Iam taking Eastern Michigan...but I guess its because.....

Chinedu Okoro. The man had to take over at QB for Jeff Crooks(why was Crooks starting in the 1st place?) And Okoro has made some progress...like actually good QB progress lol. Against Western Illinois he completed 26 of 44 passes for 252 yards - like I said before, WIU is NO push-over for a I-AA school. Against Akron he went 25-47 for 225 yards...now Akron has a bad D, but when its EMU - everything counts :p EMU held Charlie Frye to 300 yards and picked him once...but 300 yards, that aint so bad considering people figured Frye would get 500+ on these guys.

The Eastern Michigan defense has made great progress this season - they were dead last year, but progress IS progress!! They are forcing turnovers and actually hitting people with aggression.

Now Navy is running a 3-4 defense this year - which works in EMU's favor. More gaps will be open short and it`ll give them a chance to start running the ball. It`s an issue that has been brought up with the Eagles. I like this match-up and I like getting all these points cuz I got a QB here that can get me a backdoor if needed too. Plus, Eagles placekicker Andrew Wellock booted four field goals against Western Illinois. Eastern Michigan kicked only three field goals all of last season. Special teams is always a must!

I dont know much (or give a shit) about Navy - hence my no comments on them :D

The line dropped immediatly as soon as this opened up at 13.5 - cascade has this line at 11.5 now

My Pick
Eastern Michigan +13

I am worried about this game. Over the years Alabama has been a team I have won alot with. They take football seriously and wont let up. I like teams like that.

Alabama is a good team no doubt. But how would Alabama play Maryland right now ? Because I seen that game where N Ill spanked Maryland. I also watched Kentucky and won on a ML play with Alabama.

Turner was a bull in that Maryland game. Alabama is suspect to a top level runner IMO. N Ill is capable of staying within this number. I need more info.

What about the under if both defenses show up ?

KOD - a few things you gotta consider with Bama...

a loss to a MAC school is the LAST thing they need. They are on probation till god knows when - they gotta keep that program on the up & up for those years to come.

But besides that....

Players in the south are just toooooooooooooo good...toooooooo fast. Turner wont have open lanes to run through, he`ll get his yards...but thats about it. The passing game will be obsolete.

I wasnt here to watch the Maryland/NIU Game....but Ive seen replays and stats and all the goodies - is Maryland a bad team??? I think so. They lose on the road to NIU and get SPANKED at Doak Campbell by the 'Noles. Terps D isnt what it use to be like the last few years. This Bama team is TOUGH - they were tough last year, and they will be tough this year. The kids there play all out as you stated and they got pride within themselves. Who doesnt wanna play for Bama when your in the dirty souf?

Speed and talent will win this game...no more then 10 points for NIU...

Bama 34 NIU 10

OK I feel better now.

This should be the break out game where Alabama scores at will after some hard defensive struggles. OK I get it now.

just to throw my 2 cents in-----

over the years it's been pretty profitable to bet against a team coming off an overtime game the previous week.

that is why i liked louisville last week.

imo, it's either bet bg vs. osu & tex. tech vs. ncst. or not bet the game at all.

good luck, guys

Pittsburgh @ Toledo

Toledo fans have been WAITING for this game. Had this game marked since last year - a TOP 10 nationally ranked school coming to the Glass Bowl...the highest ranked ever to visit Toledo  It`ll be a fun ass game..no doubt..

I took Pitt -10 on Sunday for obvious reasons - speed, talent, adn everything else that makes the big bad wolf (BCS) eat the sheep (mid-majors). But today, I bought it back getting a GIFT from another local - Toledo +10.5!

Why did I buy this back....?

1) For one, people are on Pitt like flies on shit. Iam yet to see anybody post Toledo on any forum on the net nor have any of my friends (who are as squared as square can be) play Toledo - this is public beyond belief.

2) Lots of injuries of the Pitt Panthers - and yes, I know they got ungodly depth...but hurt is hurt! Pitt has to start a redshirt freshman(3rd stringer) at center, and the tackle and right guard is out. So big ouches on the O-Line for these Pitt Panthers. I heard a rumor about their secondary...but I wont believe it..

3) Perhaps it could be one of those "fawk you bitch" games. For those in the Pitt area, you may know that Toledo recruits HEAVY in that area - in fact, they get some players from Penn Hills (arguably one of the best high school football teams in the state). Gradkowski (Seton-LaSalle) is asking why didnt Pitt look at him? He`s fast, he can throw, he`s smart...but they overlooked him?? Brandon Hefflin is from Pitt, and Patrick Body is from Pitt as well(Penn Hills) - and I think Patrick Body was player of the game against Marshall. They didnt get recruited...iam sure they woulda loved to stay home and play for Walt Harris

4) Well, Iam sure a big crowd will be on hand....a recording breaking crowd. 37K is expected for this game...the capacity of the Glass Bowl is 26K lol. Yeaaa I know that the Panthers have played in front of bigger crowds...but Toledo will play off this crowd. I remember when the Glass Bowl was 30+ against Marshall...man that was loud

5) Multiple formations. I love betting on teams that run that type of shit..lol

6) I`ll be there talking shit to Larry Fitzgerald!!!! :D

Buying Back...

so I got

Pitt -10
Toledo +10.5

And for the hell of it...

Toledo +375
