Thought I would save some others the hassle I had to go through. Went and got a pre-paid Mastercard to try on there. Of course, the fawking thing didn't work. As I sat there pissed off, wondering if I should leave the country I used to love..a chat window from Pokerstars support pops up. A lady asks if I have a phone # they can call me on. She directs me through their pre-paid Visa site www.paytrucard.com where I deposit money and zap it right into Stars!

I fully expect a Swat team at the door any second, but hey, at least I can get a few hands in :)

if i were a poker player i would never play it on the net....it's too easy for it to be fixed.

i would either play it at a casino, a boat, or somebody's house..better chance of winning...

but i'm sure you know this already.

Agent, in the same boat here, busted my account and need to reload some funds. Help an uneducated brother out here:

Did you buy the prepaid card from this site or one of these I hear about from Walgreens/CVS?

It sounds like when uploaded the card info to this site, your Stars account was funded immediately?

Do you pay cash for the prepaid cards or if you do it online, do you buy the card with you bank check card? Would this not leave some kind of trail?

I want to keep playing but man these fawkers are making it hard for us that want a little entertainment with our own hard earned money:shrug:

I appreciate the help!

Dunclock, the pre-paid I bought at CVS bans online gaming. I was shutting down when the chat thing popped up from their support people. They have partnered with www.paytrucard.com

You go to that site, load it with your real visa or debit or whatever, then they give you a cc # and you type that # in on stars deposit page. Wasn't tough, only took about 5 minutes, however beware you must give them your (or a) social security #:scared

Thanks for the advice guys, but I have another doozy. Do I buy the card from one of these recommended places on netspend.com or purchase a prepaid from somewhere else and then take it to them to deposit? And how do I deposit? Do I need to give them the site, which means that I have to furnish my log in info for the site? Sorry to be so ignorant on the subject {damn Frist, jackazz lives in my own city} but I appreciate the guidance, just want to play some more poker, I want one of them bracelets, lol:mj07:

Yes, its a terrible offense:shrug:

I think a girl friend and myself are driving up to Caesars Saturday to play in the $200 plus $20 noon tournament{will know for sure tomorrow}. If there is more than 151 players, the winner gets a paid entry into WSOP. She is a part time pro, cashed in some tourneys, and will be playing the Ladies WSOP in Vegas. Don't know if you, Jack or any of the area guys are up this tourney?
